Monitors stand in for the player on title screens. They watch for keyboard input.
Quirks
There is no option to create new monitors in ZZT's built-in editor, but they can be placed with external editors. Objects can create new monitors at run-time with ZZT-OOP (ie #put [dir] monitor). Placing a monitor in-game will not enable title screen features, though.
